Reporting point for misconduct in the Poultry Processing Industry
The reporting point for Misconduct in the Poultry Processing Industry in the Netherlands was set up so that signals of misconduct in the sector can be reported. Employers and employees work together in a social partnership to make the poultry processing industry a great industry to work in. Use the form below to report violations of human rights, the collective labour agreement (CAO), or (labour) laws — or attempts to push the limits of these.
Why was this reporting point set up?
About ten times a year, consultations take place within the poultry processing sector between employers affiliated with the employers’ association NEPLUVI and representatives of the trade unions FNV and CNV. During these consultations, among others, agreements are made about how employees in the sector are treated. This concerns not only permanent staff, but also temporary workers set to work in one of the companies in the industry. Alongside the agreements in the collective labour agreement (CAO) for the poultry processing industry, specific agreements have been made aimed at preventing misconduct. This reporting point is, among other things, a practical outcome of those agreements.
Who can file a report?
This reporting point is intended for everyone who works in the poultry processing industry. This also includes temporary workers active in the sector.
What happens with the report?
A report submitted via the web form is received by Sociale Zaken Pluimvee, at the general email address: info@szpluimvee.nl
Reports are handled anonymously, or anonymised as far as possible, and are reported independently to the Organised Consultation of the poultry processing industry. The company the report concerns is also informed about the report.
Please note: despite the anonymisation of personal data, it is possible that, due to the nature and origin of the report, it can still be traced back to the person who reported the misconduct.
The report and the related data are kept for a maximum of 6 months, after which they are deleted.
For more information about your rights and obligations as an employee or temporary worker, you can contact your employer, a local WIN-point FNV, CNV, WORK in NL, or Sociale Zaken Pluimvee.
